Journal Care

These journals are made to be lived with — tossed in bags, carried daily, and marked by time. Scuffs, scratches, and deepening tones are all part of the process. The leather will soften and develop a patina that reflects how you use it.

If you'd like to, you can occasionally wipe your journal with a dry cloth and apply a light, neutral leather balm to keep it supple. But wear is natural — and part of what makes each piece yours.

Vegetable-tanned leather develops a natural patina, deepening in tone and becoming softer with use. This aging process is part of what makes each journal more personal over time.
